"These luxuriously soft knits are created from organic yarns that include alpaca, baby alpaca, merino wool and cotton. These softest of yarns come either from highly skilled cooperatives of artisans or an organization called Mirasol that translates money from yarn sales into the building and financing of schools. Alpaca fiber is considered some of the rarest and finest fiber in the world. Ours is hand-selected by native Andean women who recognize the quality by touch. Each throw and blanket is a beautifully unique item, knitted or crocheted by hand, or woven on a traditional wooden loom."
